Effective [Month DD, 2026]. This policy explains what Alarmadillo collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect what's needed to run your alarms and keep your streak, we don't sell it, and we don't track you for ads.
Who we are
Alarmadillo is made by [Company legal name]. You can reach us at support@alarmadillo.example.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name and email address when you sign up with Apple, Google or email. If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, we only receive Apple's relay address.
- Alarm and habit data. Your alarms, wake-up goal, chosen days, the reasons you pick in onboarding, challenge results, streaks, XP, levels and badges.
- Diagnostics. Device model, iOS version and crash reports, used only to fix bugs.
What stays on your iPhone
- Motion and steps for the Shake it and Step out challenges are read on-device to complete the challenge and are never sent to us.
- Camera for the Scan it challenge reads barcodes on-device. No photos or video are stored or uploaded.
- Apple Health sleep schedule (optional) is read on-device to suggest alarm times. Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
How we use it
To ring your alarms, run challenges, calculate streaks and stats, sync your progress across your devices, answer support requests and keep the app working. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run Alarmadillo, under contracts that limit their use of your data: [hosting / sync provider, crash reporting provider]. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Me › Account › Delete account. We erase your account data within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@alarmadillo.example and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Alarmadillo is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
